• Principal Investigator, Knowledge-Based Adaptive Software Development Methodologies, National Science Foundation (NSF), Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program, 2003.
• Principal Investigator, Knowledge-Based Support for Process Centered Software Engineering, National Science Foundation (NSF), Computing Processes and Artifacts, 2002-2004.
• Co-Principal Investigator for the Center for Empirically-Based Software Engineering (CeBASE), which seeks to develop and strengthen a community of empirical researchers in the field of software engineering.
